Our team is passionate about engineering excellence, and we are looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Mechanical Engineer/Draftsman on a part-time or internship basis.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Mechanical Engineer/Draftsman with a focus on hydraulic cylinder design. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The position offers 20-30 hours per week, primarily on Mondays, with the potential to transition into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and drafting of hydraulic cylinders and components using CAD software.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed technical drawings and schematics.
• Support the development and revision of engineering documents, including BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
• Conduct basic engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to design reviews.
• Assist with the preparation of documentation for manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
• Provide support in troubleshooting design and manufacturing issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, particularly in relation to hydraulic systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings and documentation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Availability to work 20-30 hours per week, Monday thru Thursday.
